Our Update on Brexit
Due to the current uncertainty around the terms of the UK ‘s future trading relationship with the EU; and the possibility of some disruption at the end of the Transition Period on 31st December 2020, Tendring Pacific has assessed the risks and completed the following actions, to ensure that our high levels of support to the UK food industry continues uninterrupted.
- We only use large global carriers and couriers, for the import of goods from the EU. They have long standing, well established operational procedures, regardless of the trading agreement with the dispatching country.
- We have increased our stocks of spare parts and consumables, to avoid any disruption to our customer service and technical support.
- We have increased our stock of loan instruments, to avoid any disruption due to delays in the delivery of customer orders.
- We have significantly increased bank guarantees for import duty and VAT, to help ensure the smooth passage of customers’ orders through UK customs.
