Tendring pacific is the sole representative of the Dansensor MAP range, from Ametek Mocon, in the UK. Mocon Dansensor is a world leading, innovative company, that specialises in the monitoring and control of the gas flushing process, with equipment that maximises the efficiency and profitability of customers. The range is under continuous development and offers an evolving range of on-line and off-line, process control and quality assurance, for gas flushed products in the food and pharmaceutical packaging industries.

Our Philosophy

Our consistent and knowledgeable approach, are key to delivering top quality, expert pre-sale advice, followed by high quality aftersales, technical service and support. Purchasing products is only the start of our relationship with you. We have excellent after sales support, a free technical help hotline, over 60 “How to” videos, on-site training and we offer comprehensive service and calibration on all of our products.

We respond quickly and with integrity, which is why we have so many repeat and referred customers. We deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction. We don’t get it right every time, but we strive for that, with our technically competent, pre- and post-sale support team.

Our History

Founded 30 years ago, in 1996, Tendring pacific has progressively grown, by treating our customers and suppliers, as we wish to be treated ourselves. Integrity in business is central to the way we do business, in delivering the equipment and service, most appropriate to our customer’s needs.

The private ownership of Tendring pacific ended in September 2025, when the founder sold the business into an Employee Owned Trust. The company is now owned by a Trust, for the benefit of all employees, to ensure that we unquestionably continue to deliver top quality equipment and service to our customers.

Significant Market Challenges for the Food Packing Industry in 2026

There are new and significant challenges facing the food packing industry, with the adoption of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulations on 12 August 2026. When these are combined with the large cost increases of employing staff, plus the ongoing labour and skills shortages, there is a powerful need for our customers to improve efficiency and achieve more with less.

We have readily integrated solutions for the controls needed to move towards Paperless QA, Smart Factory and 4i.
