Sponsoring Our Staff At Charity Events
Several members of our team, regularly help raise money for charities, through running and other activity events. We always support them and appreciate all of our customers who contribute to the fund raising pages.

Bradley Hare, our Service Manager, raising money for HARP
HARP is an Essex based charity for the homeless, providing housing, advice and support to over 1,000 people each year who either are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their home.

Each year, HARP organises a 24Hour endurance race around their base at Westcliff Rugby Club, Rochford SS4 1YG. The race starts at 12pm on Saturday 27th June and ends at 12pm on Sunday 28th June 2026. You can sponsor Bradley through his Just Giving Page and you can learn more about this year’s event by clicking here.

And if you’ve been suitably inspired, registrations for HARP’s 2027 24 hour race, open on 26th June 2026!

Greenfingers Mission – Team Max
Greenfingers is a national charity creating magical, therapeutic gardens for life-limited children, their families and carers, to improve their time spent in hospices across the UK.

And Team Max, which connects us to the mission, is made up of the family and friends of Max Rowlandson, who was successfully treated for leukaemia at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Since 2010, they have been raising awareness and funds to support children facing
cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.

If you would also like to help the project with a donation, they have a Just Giving page, which you can access here.

Wintercomfort
For many years now, we’ve supported Wintercomfort, a local charity, supporting the homeless in Cambridge.

Wintercomfort is an information, advice, training and support centre for anyone who is homeless, or vulnerably housed. They are open each day throughout the year, to encourage and empower the people they support, to overcome disadvantage and to make positive, long term changes to improve their lives.
