Confirm the Seal Strength of New Packaging Materials
Dansensor Lippke 5000 – The Essential Seal Strength and Integrity Tester
Consumers and retailers are increasingly demanding that their products are presented in sustainable, recyclable and eco-friendly packaging.
As a manufacturer, it’s essential that these ‘new’ packaging materials can be processed efficiently, in order to produce packs with strong and reliable seals. Ones that are able to sustain sufficient product shelf-life.
Achieving a good seal strength with these new and innovative materials is not always easy to achieve without previous experience and when there is limited technical certainty. Users are often left to experiment with different combinations of sealing temperature, pressures and dwell times. This can be both a time consuming and costly process.
Having established the optimal sealing conditions, routine use of the Dansensor Lippke 5000, during a production run, enables the user to verify that the seal strength has not drifted to the detriment of product shelf life and food safety.
The Lippke 5000 Seal Strength & Integrity Tester gives accurate and immediate feedback on each change made in the sealing parameters, helping guide the user through to the next steps and the final solution.
The unit is highly sensitive and can also detect changes as small as 1 mBar. This makes the Lippke 5000 ideal for finding micro-leaks, which is especially critical for long shelf life and export products.
The Lippke 5000 works equally well on almost all types of flexible packaging including:
Thermoformer | Tray Sealer |
Bagger | Flow Wrapper |
Gas Flushed | Non-Gas Flushed |
Skin Packed | Vacuum Packed |
Polymer based Films | Paper based Films |
