Dansensor Can Piercer

For Accessing the Headspace of Metal Cans and PET Bottles Prior to Analysis of the Headspace Gas

When used in conjunction with the Dansensor CheckMate 3, the Dansensor^® Can Piercer enables the testing of the headspace gas of containers that are hard to penetrate. Widely used for testing the headspace gas of milk powder cans, soft drink cans, wine bottles & PET drink bottles.

For the safe testing of the headspace gas of pressurised containers, it is necessary to use the Pressure Relief Valve Kit in conjunction with the piercer. On its own, the Dansensor^® CheckMate3 is not designed to test pressurised gasses and the Pressure Relief Value Kit prevents damage to the oxygen sensor.
