Benchtop Headspace Gas Monitoring of Individual Sealed Packs – NEW Generation
The latest version of the industry’s work horse headspace gas analyser. Accurate, fast analysis of O2 or O2/CO2 in the headspace of gas flushed packages. Using either the latest Zirconia O2 sensor designed, built and tested by Dansensor, or the advanced Electrochemical O2 sensor.
Designed for high volume testing. Robust and suitable for both factory floor and laboratory use. The CheckMate 4 is the latest version of Dansensor’s highly successful, long line of benchtop analysers. There are four versions available.
For standard applications:
- %O2 and %Balance – choose the Zirconia O2 version
- %O2 and %CO2 and %Balance – choose Zirconia O2/CO2 version
For applications where alcohol, or carbon monoxide may be present, such as ground coffee, or some bakery and pharmaceutical products, an alternative electrochemical oxygen sensor is available:
- %O2 and %Balance – choose the electrochemical O2 version
- %O2 and %CO2 and %Balance – choose electrochemical O2/CO2 version
Operation
Does not require an external computer, or tablet. Via the password protected touchscreen, the user can set up specific testing parameters and settings for each product, or group of products. Excellent traceability and result recall. Individual users can be allocated their own logins for improved traceability.
The Dansensor CheckMate 4 will hold up to 999 products. The test results are date and time stamped and subsequently logged in the internal memory with a total capacity of 1,000,000 test results. Alternatively they can be exported in real time via a LAN port, or via USB to Dansensor® CheckMate 4 PC software, or to Paperless QA software.
Advanced testing schemes, requiring entry via an operator ID, batch number, production line and text input, are also selectable. A barcode scanner can be added, to speed up product and operator ID, if required.
A choice of different modes of operation can be selected to activate a test – automatic spot test, manual spot test, intermittent testing and continuous testing.
Now, faster testing, by use of new “Pass Limit” feature, flags up a test value as a “PASS” provided the %O2 result is less than the preset limit.
Advanced instrument design. The CheckMate 4 is comprised of 2 components. The Control Module and an interchangeable Sensor/pump Module, for speedy swap-outs, eliminating the possibility of time consuming downtime.
Testing packs with very small headspace volumes is made easier. Sample volume size can be selected to a minimum of only 2ml for O2 analysis, using the Zirconia version, or 5ml using the EC sensor version. This enables packages with minimum headspace, such as single portions, or blister packs, to be tested with the use of the Small Sample Syringe kit.
Enhance operator safety and needle control in High Care Production by adding a SmartPen. Unique to the Dansensor CheckMate 4, the SmartPen has a retractable needle that is exposed only when the SmartPen is pushed on the test pack’s surface at the start of a test. It then retracts as the SmartPen is lifted off the sample pack.
Supplied with a five point calibration certificate, traceable to National Standards. The CheckMate 4 only requires recalibration and certification every 12 months, at the Tendring pacific Service Centre. Easily arranged by taking out one of our service contracts.
Training
To help users get off to a confident start with their first CheckMate 4, we offer a low cost initial remote start up and training option, or an onsite option is also available, when purchased with the instrument.
