Intelligently Regulating Gas Flow

With its responsive and powerful GasSave function, the Dansensor MAP Check 3 supplies only the minimum volume of gas needed to keep residual O2 within specification.

From the experience of our customers, this results in an average gas saving of up to 40%.

Problems With Old Style Manual Gas Flow Controls
To keep residual O2 below 1%, most packing lines flush with either CO2 or CO2/N2. Once the correct flow has been determined, through trial and error and confirmed by off line checks, the line can begin running.

Any rise in O2 levels is detected by regular off line headspace gas checks and compensated for by manually increasing the flow of CO2. This is a slow-to-react process, that depends on the diligence and speed of staff and the distance of the headspace test equipment from the production line.

Rapid and Intelligent Solution of the MAP Check 3 and MAP Mix Provectus
With both a Dansensor MAP Mix Provectus and a MAP Check 3 on the production line, settings for both units are controlled via the touch screen of MAP Check 3. Digital control is simple. There is no product wasting, trial and error period at start up.

The GasSave function rapidly flushes the line at up to 120L/min to remove atmospheric levels of O2 from the system, before reducing gas flow to the minimum required to achieve in tolerance product. Click here to learn more about the GasSave function.

Intelligently communicating with the Dansensor MAP Mix Provectus gas mixer the two units then continue to work in tandem to accurately and responsively meet the demands of the production line.
