Dansensor Lippke 5000
Benchtop Seal Integrity Tester
The Dansensor® Lippke 5000 measures the seal strength and package integrity of rigid, flexible, porous and laminated foil in settings including MAP, vacuum and skin packaging.
Standards: ASTM F-1140, F-2054, F-2095, ISO 11607
The unit supersedes the now obsolete Lippke 4000/4500. The Dansensor Lippke 5000 offers shorter fill times, higher pressures and minimised overshoots.
Data import and export is via an integrated USB port, cloning back up functions and optional extras, including a bar code scanner and printer. The Dansensor Lippke 5000 also has data graphing and statistical analysis capabilities. Tests include:
- Burst Test – complies with ASTM F1140 (unrestrained) and ASTM F2054 (with restraining plates)
- Leak Test – pressure management and leakage testing to ASTM F2095
- Creep Test – creep and creep to fail complies with ASTM F1140
- Combined Test – a combination of up to three different test types in the same package. Reduces the number of samples destroyed. Requires a PC software option.
- Bubble Test – package is placed in water, pressurised to a predefined pressure and held for a predetermined time.
